My Sleepy Hollow, goes live in Cornwall

Backed by the government’s Charging Infrastructure Investment Fund (CIIF) a holiday apartment let in Cornwall saw the launch of Zest’s very first EV charging points at My Sleepy Hollow, in Cornwall. The installation of two plug-in points brought easy to use, reliable and accessible charge points that align with peoples’ breaks. Housed in the tranquil village of Sevenstones, its owner, Richard McGerther had earmarked the building with low carbon and energy efficiency in mind from the start. “Zest came highly recommended,” said Richard. “They listened and understood our business needs and came up with an intelligent solution. It was a positive experience all round.”

The apartments also feature the highest standards of insulation and gets its power from 48 solar roof panels, with heating and hot water provided by two ground source heat pumps.
